{ Rachel } - Bloomington, IL Senior session

Class of 2014!  Can you believe its here!?
I had a blast working with Rachel at her senior session!  Her love of life makes her such a joy to be around.  We went to ISU Campus for a few shots then ended her senior session with doing a little bit of light painting.

Rachel loves to dance and loves spending time with her friends and family.  She has plans on attending college after high school but not sure what her major will be yet.

I was so excited to get a call to do a surprise proposal.  How exciting!  I met with him a few days before to go over the location, what will take place etc.  It went perfect!  She had nooo idea it was coming.   They recently got a puppy so they were simply 'taking the puppy to a new park'. :)  Needless to say, she was beyond excited and said YES!  I'm so excited for them! 

Noah | Central Illinois Children Session

Its always an honor to take photos for parents that my kids were friends with growing up.  Its hard to believe that our kids are even old enough to have kids of their own.  After all, I'm still so young! :)

Meet Noah!  This little guy has a really special place in my heart because his mom resides there too.  And it does my heart good to see her being such a great single mom to him.

I chose to do a kinda old theme with him and it fits him perfectly. :)  Isn't he just adorable??

Addy Turns One! | Bloomington, IL Photographer

YAY FOR ADDY!!  She turned one year old.  We had a blast with her birthday/cake smash session.  The look on her face when she tasted that cake was priceless.  She was not shy at all about digging into the mound of delicious I placed in front of her.  The outfits her mom chose for her were just adorable too.  They came from Haley Laine.  You can find her shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/haleylaine

Sweet Adalyn | Bloomington, IL Photographer Session

This sweet little family came to me from Champaign, IL.  I appreciate the 45 minute drive they took to get to me. :)

8 Month old Little Adalyn is just a doll!  She wasn't too sure about the whole camera thing going on but I think her pictures turned out adorable anyway!  It was refreshing to see a dad so involved in his childs life too.  It was obvious these parents are doing a fantastic job raising this precious little girl.

Newborn Session | Bloomington, Illinois Photographer

I had the pleasure of doing a maternity/family session for this little ones mom so I was super excited when she called wanting me to do her newborn session.  She came to me around 10 days new and was just pure sweetness. :)  I look forward to their family session this summer.

Sugar Mama Cupcakes!! - Bloomington, IL Photographer

My mother in law knows how much I LOVE Red Velvet cake.  She bought some cupcakes for me the other day from a new place in town called “Sugar Mama  Bakery”.  They were DELICIOUS!  In my opinion, lots of times bakeries overdo the frosting with sugar and its way to sweet.  I usually end up scooping some of it off, but Sugar Mama Bakery got it just right.  It’s rich and creamy but not overdone.

I decided to head out to get another cupcake today so I could take a photo to share with everyone.  OK, more so to just get another cupcake but the excuse sounded like a good one to give my husband when he asked where I was going today. Lol..  I got there and they had Peanut Butter Cup as the flavor of the say.  UGH! Decisions!  Anyone that knows me very well knows I LOVE peanut butter stuff.  I could not decide which one to get, so I got them both.  The ladies that work in this bakery were super nice and once again the cupcakes were delicious!

I highly recommend trying them out and supporting our local small business owners.  They are located at  405 North Main, Downtown Bloomington, IL
